La Fortuna's Waterfall
A short walk, in the middle of a tropical rain forest. There are approximately 700 steps or steps to enjoy a wonderful work of nature, the La Fortuna waterfall. With a height of more than 70 meters and crystal clear waters, in which during the stay in this place you can enjoy nature and swim in the river next to the waterfall.
The waterfall falls about 70-75 meters and is located at the base of the Chato volcano area, about 5.5 km from the town of La Fortuna, near the Arenal Volcano. It is fed by the Tenorio River, which travels through the rainforest in the Sierra Arenal until it plunges into the cliff, forming this waterfall.
