The “Rincón de la Vieja” volcano has been one of the most active in Costa Rica during the last years. The June 28th 2021 there was a moderate eruption that was caught by several cameras. The constant activity of the volcanos is one of the attractions of Costa Rica, therefore when visiting these places always is recommended to do it in a safe and official way to avoid unexpected situations.
