March 2023: Rincon de la Vieja Volcano’s eruption
The Rincon de la Vieja Volcano is the current most active volcano in Costa Rica. Tuesday, March 14th, 2023, it had two eruptions in the morning at 5:29am and 5:49am, mainly form by steam water and ash.
The events were recorded by the monitoring cameras installed by the OVSICORI (entity in charge of monitoring volcano’s activity).
